RETURN TO RHIAN
Book 2 of The Tuddleby Tales
Released December 2024
Two months ago Tommy Tuddleby was in Rhian, helping recover stolen pearls and save the kingdom of Aesteron. Now he's starting sixth grade at a new school. He is making new friends, but misses the friends he made in Rhian and his adventures there. He's also haunted by nightmares he can't explain. A weekend visiting his favorite aunt and uncle turns into a return to Rhian! He expects only a happy reunion, but soon realizes something is not right. In fact something is terribly wrong. Are his nightmares telling him something? Tommy and his friends team up once again -- this time for a daring rescue. They learn nothing is as it appears. An evil sorceror may be on the loose and they're no longer sure who to trust.
Can Tommy save the Kingdom before the sorceror strikes again?
Janine Faith Goodman began the first book in the series, The Tuddleby Trait, as a college independent study project with award winning children’s writer Natalie Babbitt, and she did not finish it until 35 years later! She is thrilled to continue the adventures of Tommy Tuddleby in Book 2 - Return to Rhian. Both books were illustrated by artist Aliza Horowitz.

"One of the Shadow Guards approached. A blood-red pin attached to his cloak glinted in the moonlight. It looked like a weird flower with an eye staring out from the middle. Ozzy began growling. The guard seemed unmoved, staring straight ahead as he declared in an icy voice, "No entries today."
